Default Plugging the Wet Bearing

We're installing a turbo with a wet bearing in it and were just planning on putting bolts in the wet section. I have heard other people doing this because it is not necessary to use the wet section and much easier. Is there any problem with this or is there a correct way to plug it up? Thanks.

i heard to do this actually on a saab turbo.. but the idea would be the same.. as long as it is oil cooled everything should be ok right? As far as I understood the wet section provided additional cooling.

"wet bearing" is a non-sense term. I only know what you are saying because I am a ******* genius don't be lazy, just bypass your throttle body and run the lines to the turbo. It will be much more proper, my good sir.

You do not need to plug the turbo, because if nothing is going in, nothing will leak out.

On the other hand, if you want to keep the posibility of using the water coled setion someday, then you do not want crap getting in there.

If you can, it is best to run water coled, but it is possible to run dry without massive problems, many people do it.
