that intercooler looks perfect with those fogs... which intercooler is that? does flipping it upside down change any of the characteristics of the air flow? did you have to do anything custom to make it fit upside down?

Flipping it would do nothing to the air flow. The only thing is you won't be able to run any part of the bumper support if your running the 10" precision intercooler.
Damn, I wish I could still run my oem fogs!

Thanks for the reply. Looking at your pics, would it be possible for you to flip yours upside down to keep the fogs? Have you tried?

The only thing you have to sacrifice is the windshield washer bottle and bumper support. Looking at Naptownsi's itc, it wouldn't help much is he got into an accident from the front anyways so might as well take it off
I think it would be possible, but the IC piping I got was made for a DRAG 3 kit and the bends would have to be customized a bit to reach up top. Also the bracket holes on the Precision intercooler are "above" the inlets so flipping would require a bracket be below the piping. Right now I have an "L" bracket bolted into the IC on both sides and connected to the opening of the bumper support. If I have more time this summer, I may entertain the flipping of the IC and fab some custom piping, then reinstall the fogs. Having down time w/ a daily driver sucks.

LOL. Yeah, I guess the remaining portion of the BS that I left acts as a "sense of security" rather than an effective impact impedance. Structurally, it is still very supportive and stable, so I am convinced (a bit biased here) it would help a lot more than running without it all together.
