i guess i have to look into my basemap... looks like if i can't access the basemap i will have to switch injectors at the shop...man what a pain.. ... the smell of gas is getting me dizzy... . today i put the hondata ecu in with the stock injectors and it started right up with a check engine light... so i know the ECU is a-ok. rainman is going to help me out with the basemap so hopefully we can figure out the basemap.

KCH- thanks for the injectors. i bought all my earl's fittings and lines from http://www.amstreetrod.com, a little expensive but great service. I originally went with http://www.bakersprecision.com but they lost two of my orders...so screw that.. here's what i used... swivel seal hose ends, perform-o-flex hose, an to an adapters, port plug o-ring seal for the fpr, super stock hose end for the fpr return, and union reducers adapters.. cuz my fpr ports are -10an....hopefully you won't run into the same problems as i am right now...

 

at least yours starts back up when u went back to stock..mine didnt but it started today.not sure how after almost 2 weeks of non commision

 

Did Rocket write your basemap or did I? If it was me, I have a record of everyones specs saved on my computer. I think Rocket maintains the same type of Log.

I can write you another map and e-mail it to you if you have someway of getting it written to the EEPROM. Let me know,

I have some what of the similar problem.....but my car starts up, it just runs like **** and blows **** out the exhaust. Plus i am at 110 on the trip and have a 1/4 tank of gas left, after putting $22 to fill it up a few days back.

Set up:
Hondata S200B
P28 chipped ecu
550cc/min rc injectors
AEM fuel rail
Crane Hi-6 ignition
Nology Pro-Fire coil & Hot-Wires
NGK plugs
MSD distributor cap
SX Engineering external pump, filter, Braided AN-8 stainless line from tank to front
AN-6 stainless line to fuel rail

Yes, a bad map sensor can cause the car not to start.
Stock maps sensors usually dont go bad.

However please make sure you have a compatible 3 bar map for hondata.

def base map had same prob with a dfi turns out they run the base map rich so you dont lean the motor out andf blow it

 

UPDATE!!

EVERYTHING WORKS!! and idles like STOCK on 550cc injectors!

today the stock injectors were swapped back out for the 550's and hondata with the new base map was installed with the stock map sensor. (thanks for helping rainman!)

looks like it was either the basemap or the 3 bar map sensor.. kyle sent me an adjusted basemap with the stock map sensor and it worked like a charm!!

drives like i never switched out the stock injectors! very nice!

must be nice, i hope that i have the same luck with my car....I hope inline pro can hold up to what everyone says they are

how do you know if your map sensor is hondata compatiable? I have the GM 3bar on mine, i don't know if this is causing any problems or not.
