Default please help identify this turbo

Was told it is a t3/t4 60-1, don't know who made it or anything else about it. Compressor side measures 4" and 2 1/2", also has a tag on there that reads

Model # t04 b98

besides that it only have some #'s 0476 7291 and 9295 6 stamped on it?

Exhaust side measures 2" for the opening and nothing but a 22 stamped on the outside of the cover

I did a search and couldn't come up with anything, most of the pictures don't open and some of the helpful links were closed. thanks

It looks like a t3/t4, maybe 60-1, but definately looks larger than 60trim. Innovative? Not sure

Good looking used turbo, use it.

thats a nice crack on that wastegate port.

whatever it is, that outlet on the compressor makes me think it was originally for some sort of industrial design. maybe a tractor engine or generator or something like that??

My turbo has one crack similar to that one near the wastegate port as well. Someone else on the site said it would be okay, so im guessing the little cap that goes overy my wastegate whole wont leak boost? not trying to steal the thread, this is just a really good picture showing the problem

thanks for the replies. What about the bolt pattern on the hot side, anybody know anything about that? I heard something like it might be a nissan t3 turbo? Yes, that crack is pretty ugly, hope I don't have major boost spikes or anything going wrong because of that. Do you guys think I could get a new t3 cover to replace that?

the nissan T3's I've seen all have the standard 5 bolt flange. I would honestly just suggest if you've been told it's a T3 would be to go on ebay and search "nissan T3" in the auctions and then if that turns up nothing...try it again in the advanced search under completed auctions and make sure to click the titles and descriptions tab for both searches to get more results.

I still think that's an industrial application turbo with the shape of the compressor outlet. It looks like one of those slip-fit types that didnt use hose couplers and instead used another pipe with either an o-ring or round paper gasket to seal.

you sure it's not a straight T4/T4?? that "0476" could mean T4 76 as in 76 trim...which is friggin huge

toss a coke can by the compressor on end and let us see it.
