ok this is really urgent and I need to know. This is also the Emanage fmu, not blue box. I heard that you can wire the emanage for the 96-99 obd2 setup to an obd1 if you cross reference the diagrams. Has anyone done this? Do the base maps run the car right, or does it need to be tuned from scratch? Also what problems did you run into? Please anyone who has any experience with this setup help me out, I already ordered the kit and its on its way!!! Please anyone asap!

I can't imagine why you couldn't do it assuming you got the wires right.

the e-manage is not a base map type of unit. it's "base map" is simply your stock fuel/ignition maps. when you make changes to the e-manage, it simply alters what is already there. keep "piggy-back" in mind. but to the original topic, yes it can work. get the honda shop manual for the wiring, dont use a helms .
