Next prob.... wategate won't bolt directly onto the manifold, it hits the valve cover, and the elbow i was going to use won't work. No way my hood is going to close. So now i need a new elbow and a new dump
Other than the fittament issues the manifold looks pretty good, i can't wait to start boosting! I hope this helped anyone who was interested in this set up, you can pm me if you have any question
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Switch to a turbosmart 38mm wastegate...its better then tial and sits much lower and will not hit the hood.....

I actually don't think that would work. it's lower profile but it is (or appears to be) wider. so it will still hit the head on a vtec head.

oh yeah how can i forget the dp that you made for me
i had a spoolin perf 3" a/c dp for blox ... fit like a charm </TD></TR></TABLE>
inspral runs my dumptube n downpipe also !
in addition th turbosmart gate will hit the head b4 you even bolt it up. the problem here is the wg gets wayyyyyy close to the head. not much problem with the hood.

Re: (project dc2)
yeah the dp in the pix above is from spoolin. i wish i took pix of the dp side though. funny thing when i had my tial on that manifold. i closed the (cf with fiberglass skeleton) hood and it went CRUNCH! i was like hrm...? opened it again and saw it put a nice hole in the underside of the hood. it was fine after that though.

I had to cut some webbing off my block and use an elbow to fit the wastegate on, not a very good manifold IMO

i've had to cut the webbing off every block i've had a turbo on. that's typical of most cast manifolds. drag, revhard, blox, etc.

nice! thats a 3" DP? man i really hope a GT35R can fit with this manifold. btw, good job on the Dump tube. i was talk n to jeff evans on his website and he said it's very important to have the dump tube go under the oil pan or else u will loose some HP... in some cases 90whp!!!!! (but this is for open dump tube, unlike those pics above)
oh yea, with ur elbow fitting for the WG, do u need to shave the tial wastegate so it will clear the hood (in a dc2 chassy)

Re: place your blox manifold turbo enginebay pics here! (boosted k20)
we've used a gt35 on a blox manifold before. you will need to make a t3 adapter to lower and angle the turbo a bit to clear. also depends on what car you have also. we did it on a 95 gsr integra

nice pics.
its a very good cast manifold for a reasonable price.
if anyone is interested, check the sig
