which pistons should i buy for my b16a1 turbo?
i broke my cp pistions because of a bad tune.
i bought a new block in good condition 81mm. should i buy 81 or 81,5mm pistons?
what brand should i buy?
just shooting for 340whp
can you recomend any good seller?

Re: which pistons to buy (anton_)
If you broke CP's your fucked. Totally fucked. They are the absolute pinicle of awsomeness and are stronger than a 100% pure alloy block of awsomeness. At least thats what you'll hear from the tuners that use them exclusively. No **** a tuner that has done MANY cars won't care about a part thats only excessively 'fragile' when not treated properly. When you don't tune it yourself, don't have a way to check cylinder pressure, don't have a few thousand wraped up in an individual cylinder detonation system...you don't want something that will break when the slightest thing goes wrong.
I'd suggest Wisecos. Good pistons, good prices, good phone support (you get someone from the USA!). I recall seeing a big compair-o, and Wiseco was #2 behind some other piston in terms of the skirt's taper, as well as consistency between pistons. That and a lot of people here have had good luck with them. Even with a crap tune.

take the block in to a machine shop, see what bore it has to be taken to... (the size of the most out of round cylinder)
order pistons for that size... take pistons into machine shop before they do the final bore...
cp, arias, wiseco, JE.... any of those are fine...

wisecos sound like they are a replacement for needing any quality tuning... thats sweet, I mean who REALLY needs a tune anyways... just buy wiseco pistons and pull the vac line off the wastegate. I bet they must also be using some of that pinicle of awesomeness and stronger than 100% pure alloy block of awesomeness you speak of, like ubertanium or something...
as said above by others... there are many good piston manufacturers, its personal preference... you can find issues with many pistons... not just cp by any means and they are mostly due to very tight clearances, tuning issues, etc.
like the destroyed wiseco pistons thread on page 2 currently.
