Default piston rings alignment- Turbo appl.

is there a special way to align the ring gaps for turbo use or should i just use what alignment is in the helms manual?

just do what helms says, I staggered mine like this, 1st gap at 11 o'clock ( looking at the piston from the top), ,second at 7 o'clock.
the oil rings at 12 o'clock and the other 2 small rings are at 3 and 9 o'clock...

why would you align the two small rings at 3 and 9'oclock, when the manual says not to align any ring gap inline with the piston pin.
