Well i cracked a sleeve on friday, and i just took the piston out from the cracked cylinder i'm just wondering if you guys think this piston is reusable.







and for ***** and giggles... my block i think jb weld might fix it..

 

I wouldn't re-use that piston. Well, as an ashtray maybe.

 

i 2nd that i wudnt reuse it
get another piston and be safe

is that in a boosted setup? if it is, then thats way too much compression. check ur fuel system when u finish ur new build. make sure ur pump/regulator/inj. are good. and if u have a B&M FPR junk it

they probably will sell you one.....but take out all the pistons and have them checked/measured.......you might need a whole new set.

 

that piston is too far gone to reuse.


call cp they might sell just one. i know wiseco sold me just 1 piston when i cracked a sleeve
