Default Piston Question: PLEASE HELP

Ok, where do I start? Darton made the sleeves for an f22-B1 that I ordered from them too big. My stock bore is a 85mm. they bored it to an 85.5mm. Because they messed up I send back my Wisco pistons back that I ordered originally and they paid the difference and orded me some oversized 86mm arias pistons. I recieved the pistons today and they are from a f22-A1. I have an F22-B1. The old spec sheet from the Wisco's have the valve diameter, pocket diameter, valve angle, valve rotation, and depth from timing edge. The new Arias spec sheet does not have this, so I have no way of knowing if they will work! Rob at Race Engeenering said they will, but once I open them, I'm screwed, so i want to make sure theses are the right pistons, I also called arias and they said that they didn't know?can anyone help?

they are 86mm bore and you have a 85.5mm bore... dont sound like it will work to me right there.

might try the accord forum for confirmation but the a1 and b1 pistons are interchangeable. I am not positive though... I have a b1. Hoever if your bore does not match...

they made the sleeves to an 85.5, they have not been bored or finished yet, they can be bored to an 89.mm, so I will have themfinished to an 86.0mm when i find out these will work!

oic... in that case... I would think they would work. I would post in the accord forum for definate confirmation.

that sucks all that hassle for such a small fitment issue.

I also found out the compression height on the original piston is 1.208 and the new arias is a 1.215, this is a 7 thousands difference. I'm worried about a valve and a piston knocking? what do you think?

Also the car has a turbo, and that is why i put this topic here, it seems that i get a lot more knowledge here vs. the accord forum!

yeah but there are some good turbo tech guys in the accord forum too...

Anyways either way... if the piston height is different like that I am not sure. I dont know how much 'space' you have to work with there.

I will leave this to someone who wants to comment with better facts.

I know, that is what I'm shakey about. RAce engineering swears that the f22b and f22a are the same as far as pistons go..... still not satified with say so, I want facts or specs!
