Default Pissed.........at MaxRev!!

Fawk man. I'm now frustrated, mad, pissed and more. Why you ask? This is why. Ok, couple weeks ago, January 19th to be exact, I bought my turbo from Curtis. Its now the 6th and I havent seen or heard anything about it. I constantly call the shop and never get an answer and ofcourse they dont have a damn answering machine. I never got a call back with a tracking number. I emailed him and never got a response. Goeff, who was helpful before when the crazy manifold thread was alive isnt really helping me out too much. I emailed him a couple of times and would answer my emails only when I said I wanted to buy more stuff. Im just plain pissed. Makes me more upset sitting here every day and watching the damn UPS and FedEx trucks zip past my house!!! I have friends that are saying that I got beat, and they never heard of MaxRev, and blah blah blah, which kills me more!
Sorry I gotta vent, and im sure that this doesnt look good. But I really looked forward to getting it and doing business with them in the future. I was looking to buy their manifold and downpipe, but who knows when I would get them.

ummmm ya.
as geoff has said before, maxrev is not an import parts store, they are a machine shop. They are very busy, and apparently they are moving there shop right now. I know its hard to get a hold of them, my brother said it took him quite awhile to get through while ordering his kit. Dont speak down on them because both geoff and curtis are very nice guys, who are both very concerned with customer satasfaction in their PRODUCT.

i too had to wait a few weeks for my setup...learn patience

I recieved the manifold, turbo and dp combo a long time ago...I realize that it isnt the full kit, but I did get the stuff proving that you MaxRev does exist and that you didnt get screwed over. Trust me you will happy when it comes...although waiting for it does suck.

Ask Brian B about the time we had getting our stuff from Max-Rev. Everyday Geoff would tell us it shipped. He actually called two days in a row and said he was at FedEx shipping the stuff.

The real disappointment started after we received our stuff. I sent mine back and Brian's is for sale, if anyone is interested IM him. I fortunately have a good relationship with my CC Company so I got my money back even though they never processed my refund.

I have been buying after market parts for my cars for 10 years so I know how the industry works, you have some service oriented operations like Summit (who rock, even when you want to return something) and you have the rest.

Geoff will probably post a thesis about what a jerk I am and how awful going to school and being in hospital is. I am sure my feelings towards him are mutual.

I understand and fully accept that some people have had a great experience with Max-Rev and love the kit, we didn’t, that’s all there is to it.

Hey 93LSivic Don't be Alarmed!!!!

You will get your stuff Its just a matter of time they are leguit and no they didn't steal your money or nothing...

I ordered a manifold in Late October Last year, yes October when they first introduced the manifolds and I got it Just a couple of weeks ago.

Now I went ahead and ordered some more like a turbo and downpipe of which I was supposed to receive the turbo last week but nothing yet I'm supposed to get the downpipe this week but I don't think they will have it ready....

So calm down Its not that bad call Max Rev Once or twice a week just to see whats going on and thats it, I must say that their products are great but their customer service needs some work.

Oh yea about that manifold deal I had with them, they ended up making it up to me by offering me some of their products cheaper and I'm happy about that....

How long did you wait? I just ordered the turbo itself, so they didnt have to assemble or do anything--basically just a middleman. I would understand if I was buying a manifold or downpipe, something that required custom making.
As far as the shop is moving. Well, come on now. Do they pay for their cnc machine with walk in customers? I highly doubt it, they have to do some kind of phone orders. That, right there is my opinion of the poorest kind of customer service!! No phone?? Who knows if I am calling a payphone on a corner a block away!!!!
I'm just upset that I cant get through to find anything out. I think that both Curtis (what little I spoke to him) and Geoff are real good guys. They just need a lil better service. Hell, pay some dumb blonde $7/hr to sit there answer phones, write down messages and chew gum. I bet they would get 10x more customers, and no customers that feel like they are in the dark, like myself.

it shipped last week. i have not been at work lately so i dont know exactly what day it went out on. I saw it there and i know its not there anymore, so its in shipping.

i know its tough to get ahold of curtis, but thats the situation. You didnt get beat, and when you say i only return your emails when youre interested in buying products, thats ridiculous. Ive talked to you many times trying to help you out on setups whether or not you had any vested interest in buying something from us. Also i dont make a penny whether or not you buy anything from us, so i have no vested interest in your purchases, all i have tried to do is to help you get your car running well with good parts.

philip -- i would ask that you no longer post about us. You do not fairly represent the situation *at all* When we said we were going to fedex those two days, guess what, we did. They were closed by the time we got there. Believe it or not, thats what happened.

Secondly, i do go to school, a lot. And I got surgery. Thats me. I couldnt possibly care less about you, i just wish you and brian would get over your petty vendeta against me/maxrev and move on. I know you didnt like the products so i hope you like something else more.

The main thing that made me unhappy is how YOU ripped US off. You did a charge back of $1604. You know damn well that was not your half of the bill. You also ordered two kits and got a discount. I ask that you stop posting about us and this drama. Most everyone who views these posts im sure is sick of seeing this crap, and i know im sick of being reminded of it.

geooff, are you kidding me, you cant be serious. I waited three weeks for that refund, then you say i ripped you off. you left me absolutely no choice, i waited till the day before the charge-back deadline. if you had of done a credit for a fair amount you would never have heard from me again.

anyway, thats the last i will post on the matter. in my opinion these guys suck and in there opinion i suck.

to be honest i have only had good srvice from max-rev and geoff,sometimes poo poo happens. cant make everyone happy. my stuff was in transit for 2 1/2 weeks and it was due to fed-ex being slow as poo poo.

I called maxrev yesterday and spoke to curtis...i called more than once because the first few times no one picked up. But when i spoke to Curtis he was very helpfull and even took the time to answer all my questions. So if you dont get someone the first time call back...BTW Goeff whats your email address agian? wondering if you can help me with my setup...
