Pics of NPR intercooler i just bought
Bought it friday night and did a little bit of polishing on it...i did a serch and read how to do it...but it didnt come out that shiny...maybe i just need to wear out my shoulder some more...any tips???

that looks pretty good for a npr core. i would try using never dull.

did you finish up at 1600 grit sandpaper? if not, keep going! and use some mothers mag and aluminum polish afterwards.

i finished it all the way up to 2000 grit, and used mothers polish...still not that shiny though...????

get a spiral sewn buffing wheel with some black emory wax. only way to get a mirror finish. then finish it off with some never dull.

get a spiral sewn buffing wheel with some black emory wax. only way to get a mirror finish. then finish it off with some never dull.
Get an arbor adatper for your power drill. It's like three bux and you can mount the spiral sewn buffing wheel onto your drill. That way you wont wear yourself out as much. Put a some duct tape or something on the end of the shank so you dont scratch anything. If you use a drill keep it moving, dont stop in one spot too long.

same exact intercooler as mine... i payed $175 for mine... i also modified mine so the inlet and outlet comes out straight and not at an angle like how they are in the pic.. it makes for a better and easier install when mounted up front...

I have an NPR intercooler as well .
We made over 550 WHP on the full-size NPR i/c (twice the size of ours in height) on the truck.
