Default Intercooler pics

Here's some pics of an intercooler i did recently for HT member SpeedDreamz, for his AWD talon race car. It's an 18x12x4.5" Garrett core, with .125" endtanks and 3.5" v-band inlet and outlet.

I didn't have a brake when i made that, the bend on that tank is part of a sch 40 piece of pipe welded to straight pieces to make the 90 deg. bend.

The vbands have orings, they seal very good.

To show that it's a true T1 intercooler, and not a chinese knockoff (that are probably being mass produced as we speak!).

BTW, vband right on the tank? Is there any type of flex incorporated into the rest of the piping? Or is that motor also welded directly onto the chassis, as well?

Awesome work, Tony. Was that a Garrett core you used?

BTW, good job on that Evo you did the header for getting featured in I think Turbo

Looks good. I can only hope to weld that good one day.

What do you charge for something like this Tony?

The evo was in D Sport. to D Sport, still showing love to the street cars!

This is a Garrett core, the only cores i use for my intercoolers. Custom intercooler setups like this can vary a bit in price depending on connection type used for intercooler piping and on the size of the core used. PM me for pricing though, this isn't the place for it.
