Hey Spoondc, why aren't you have w/ the T3? I'm putting a T3 on a D16z6. My first turbo project.

 

Im just looking for more power.

 

I was doing 10 lbs on my b16 with a t3 volvo turbo with just a walbro intank and a 12:1 fmu stock injectors. I didn't have an probs with it.

 

how loud is the bov @ the low psi? I'm considering buying one if it sounds descent at low boost.

Don't up the boost untill you get a better tuning device, or you will be buying a new motor before anything else.

 

Got a decent exhaust and hi flow CAT on there ??

turbo seems a little small for a b18b, probably good for autocross, but it doesn't sound like thats what you want. try a bigger t3. there are lots out there, if you want to go junkyard try getting a thunderbird 5speed turbo. or cheapturbo.com

 

i might get flamed for this but oh well. what year is your car? the front end is 98-01 style, i looks like from the motor pic that you have an ls but on the third pic i looked at teh gagues adn that looks like a gsr cluster, hmmm im confused

 

Your car will be boosted soon too hopefully... How was the drive back...? Call me and keep me updated on the set-up... ...

 

Would a larger t3 make that much diff? My car is a 95. I converted the front to 98+ and have a gsr cluster in there from when I had my lsvtec setup. I also have an old intake manifold because thats all i could find for now.
