Pic request log manifold intercooler piping
Did a quick search but most pictures are with the bumper on, can anybody share a pic of there log setup on a B series, I want to see how you plumb the intercooler in... Can you get the intercooler piping between the block and the exhaust downpipe or do they usually run in front?

Sorry I meant with the compressor on the passenger side, i.e. how do you route the ic pipe work over to the drivers side when the compressor housing is on the passenger side?

the same way you would if it were on the drivers side... it just has a longer straight section before the turn to the compressor housing....

Thanks that's what I thought but just wanted to clarify there isn't room for the ic pipe to go out the compressor downwards and then behind the exhaust downpipe i.e. between block and downpipe.

i assume you have an a/c compatible manifold? then it should go in front of the downpipe (if the downpipe was made correctly).

the charge piping always goes in front of the downpipe regardless.... theres never room for behind.

Re: Pic request log manifold intercooler piping
Sorry maybe I should have explained better, I have very limited room and wanted to know if it's possible to route the ic piping behind the downpipe when using a log manifold, as I suspected this is not the case, for example http://jamesfawcett.co.uk/cms/index....id=7&Itemid=11 you can see the ic piping goes down and around to get to the intercooler not in front Anyway thanks for the replies

Re: Pic request log manifold intercooler piping
routing the downpipe further out from the block really wont work and will give you less clearance and will cause you to make some funky bends in the intercooler piping. air doesn't like to turn... for every turn in the piping you lose 1% efficiency in flow.
its best to route it in front of the downpipe..
any pictures of your specific application?

Thanks for your help, no pics as yet as I'm still deciding on what kit to buy and checking it'll fit before I order it Phil at Spoolin has been really helpful too.

Man. It's intercooler piping. You're making this waaaaay more complicated than it has to be. Once you install everything, you'll see that your options are limited.

Ha ha I know that's why I wanted to get the most compact solution i.e. log or other manifold, thanks anyway.
