Phenolic Insulators
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in phenolic spacers for Civic's. Currently I have made and designed phenolic spacers for B16,B18C and B18C5's and am currently designing ones for the Impreza and S2000's. We have found gains of up to 6hp and it works way better then the Hondata spacer.

I've seen the domestics use them, but I'm not sure what sort of power gains you can get from them. How much would they cost? Oh, and are you gonna leave out the D an H series guys?

These are available for all Honda 4 cylinder engines.

I know of phenolic as "non-flexible", and when I fiddle with the hondata one it seems to have characteristics of nylon plastic. Just curious as to what material the hondata one is made of

specs:
-3/8 inch thick
-full phenolic
-comes with extended bolts and silicone
-water ports are o-ringed
-gains are about 6hp
-the material is easy to port
-you can see it at http://www.defcon-racing.com
We have been running these spacers in our cars for the last year. I havn't had any problems what so ever, but my shop has been too busy recently, and I only had a chance to dyno the cars. I plan to have thermal temperature readings soon.

Re: Phenolic Insulators (gsx4R1)
hmmm.... I never really thought about that. How much is the Hondata spacer anyways? Sorry I've been to busy and havn't really set my USD pricing yet, I just picked a number that was close to CDN after conversions.
