Default PCV Question

I installed a slashcut fitting into the exhaust, and the line where the breather used to be. Also, the factory pcv setup in the valve cover is in tact. Now at idle there is an actual vacuum condition inside the crank case! I have never heard of this, and am kind of afraid. I discovered this after about 1 minute of idling, there is a humming sound, the sound is air trying to escape INTO the valve cover through the pcv valve grommet. If i pull the pcv valve out with the car running at that point, there is a tremendous "woosh" of air into the valve cover! Does this mean that the new pcv system is so effective that it is actually evacuating more gasses\pressure than is being produced? Is a negative pressure condition in the crank case dangerous? thanks guys!
