Default pcv and octane reduction.

Hey guys I'm hearing a bit of detonation with the det can. Its inconsistent but pops up. I was wondering if you guys think oil in the intake from a normally operating pcv valve reduces octane at a significant level. The spark plugs have no melted porcelain or glazy appearance just a very small amount of silvery sparkles (I am guessing is from the detonation. My IATs aren't too bad either around 50 degrees c. My guess is the detonation is caused by oil from the pcv system messing with the combustion as opposed to too hot of combustion chamber/ too much timing advance. Btw I am going to vent the pcv to the atmosphere instead of routing it through the intake.

F22b2 ebay turbo setup
crappy CA 91 octane
18 degrees of timing at 10 psi
11.4-11.7 afrs throughout boost

Isn’t 18 degrees of timing a lot for 10psi of boost?
Venting to the atmosphere should help also.

Idk I've been getting mixed numbers from searching. However, I took out 1 degree per psi. Maybe with 91 I need to be more conservative. More like 1.25 perhaps. I will check the intake for oil pooled up. God I can't wait to switch to e85.
