PCV/catchcan: help me clarify something
if i understand correctly...it the typical setup, the catchcan goes right after the PCV valve and before the return to the intake manifold.
right?
but what do you do with the vavle cover breather? that has potential to send oily mist into the combustion chamber too, right?

No.
The catch can should go between the accumulator and the PCV valve, but your way will work too. it will just be more likely to develop a vacuum leak.
You want to allow air into the valve cover, so a small filter will work.

which car would win in a race? from a dead start i'd have to say the stock wrx. you get insane traction out of the hole. but if you were already cruising, it's hard to say. the real advantage the wrx has in stock form is traction. that's why the 1/4 mile times are so low for a car that feels slower once you start rolling.
i also love my teg. it's got a totally differnent feel. plys, i've invested so much into it i could never give it up. i can't wait till it's back on the road and built to kill!!!!
hope this helped.

Instead of letting the PCV Valve feed directly into the intake manifold, you place the catch can in between those two points.
The valve cover breather should have a line running to it from the intake tube...air flows IN, not out of there, so you can either
a) leave it as it is
b) run a hose to it from the intake tube
c) put a filter on it
here's a pic
edit: i'm not sure if turbo tubing has a bung for the valve cover breather...shrug
