Paintball tank nitrous?
I know I am going to catch major flame for this. Anyways, I have a couple of 20oz paintball tanks that I don't use anymore. If I had a solenoid, nozzle, other minor crap, would I be able to use this as nitrous. Like shooting a 35 shot? Would probably be used more as a intercooler spray, just interested if it would work.
Also about how many shots of 35 would I get out of a little 20oz bottle.

co2 paintball tanks and the paintball nitrogen tanks are nothing alike. if you want a nitrous bottle, buy a nitrous bottle meant for you car. i would suggest turbo over nitrous though, had both and still got turbo. the nitrous is fine, but not constant. when the bottle pressure drops, hp drops. it costs about 50 bux to fill a 10lb bottle, and when you want power you cant just step on the gas, you have to open the bottle thats all the way in the trunk and then flip a switch.

Turbo kit build up is in the works. Got intercooler, oil feed, tapped oil pan, and log manifold. Not even done installing the motor yet lol. 10.5:1 c/r on 5 psi should be fun.

its been a while since i have played with co2 but if i remember right the burst discs on the 20oz let go at about 1100 psi. so if any heat heat hit the bottle it would dump 20oz n2o in your car. the cf wraped are made for the temp change either.

Well not if you have a remote bottle opener which always sticks in the open postition for some reason!!! But it opens the bottle fine.

A 20oz CO2 bottle will work as an intercooler sprayer but thats about it. The "nitrous" bottles for paintball really wont do you any good. They are filled with compressed air which is like 60% nitrous. If you can make a setup simliar to an auto nitrous kit with the correct jet sizes i think it would work as a dry setup. I dont think a 45ci or 68ci bottle would last very long tho.
