p28 ecu question?

Default p28 ecu question?

i found a p28 ecu but its outta a 93 civic ex AUTOMATIC. will this work for the obd1 hondata?

it will need to be chipped and converted to manual, but ya it'll work.

OMG. DIFFERENT!!!11

Remove RP17 and RP18, insert a piece of wire as jumper across RP18. Viola, now you have the much sought after ****** manual transmissiom P28.

VTEC sucks.

lol..drunk you are...same here, but eh.....yeah....an auto p28 can be used for hondata........ They will just put in a rom, resistor, jumper, 4 pin white plug, capacitors, and a socket....

awesome. if i can find a p28 manual, then what needs to be done, cause i have a friend that comes across these ecus like everyday

Removing those two SK5151 is entirely recreational. RP17 and RP18 are wehat you worry about.
