Default Overheating... with recent install! + Couple other questions.

Recently I installed my new PWR radiator and filled it with new coolant and it ran great then just this weekend I installed my 1000cc injectors, resistor box, 3bar map sensor, and hondata s200 with basemap. Now for some reason it decides to over heat occasionally! I thought it was an air in the coolant lines, but wouldnt that of happened before I installed the 1000cc injectors, resistor box, 3bar map sensor, and hondata s200 with basemap? I am wondering what you think it could be. I thought it was the thermostat because sometimes the lower radiator hose is cold and sometimes it gets hot so it might be going out just want more oppinions.

Also does it mess up tuning to run a 160 degree thermostat compared to the stock 180?

One more when running a compression test that can also tell you if you would have a bent valve? because ever since I put new valvetrain in my car it sounds a hell of a lot louder then most I hear.

Thannks in advance!

Well I think that the thermostat might be stuck shut sometimes... because my upper radiator hose is hot and is at normal temperatue, but my lower radiator hose is cold and that is where the coolant exits the engine... any other symptoms? I dont think its leaking because my coolant resivor is full and I parked my car last night and this morning no leaking was seen.

nesxt time it starts overheating. pop the hood and see what the lwoer rad hose is like.. that'll tell you if the thermostat is stuck or not.

Ya I checked it like I posted in the thread earlier and it was cold.. so I think its going out, because today I checked it and it was warm. So I think it is getting stuck so I will deffinetly replace it!
