What's your setup? Have you bled the air out of the coolant system?

Try flushing your coolant and repalce the coolant with a mixture using more water than coolant.. Water holds heat better while coolant has a higher boiling point. Correct me if im wrong.

i just went to burp the water system and as i was accelerating waiting for the water to go down, it started to bubble up white bubbles on the radiator. do u guys think its the headgasket?? i got a cometic one so i dont think it could be that. anything else it could be ?? warped head?

where the bubbles like milky white thick looking. Take you sprak plugs out and see if you can see any water in the cyl's. Pull your dipstick out and see if there is milky white substance on it, or even go as far as removing the valvecover to take a better look at the oil. It could just be a thermostat too did you try changing it yet since its cheap and easy?

they were not thick more like just white and really bubbly. no milky white substance on dipstick, and i changed the thermostat but it was a autozone thermostat. i read yesterday someone saying that those are defective?? could it be that??

Change your thermo first. It also sounds like you may still have air in the head.

You don't need a new headgasket, yet.

HEY YOU DUMBAZZ READ HIS POST!!!

I would get a stock Honda one. You're having issues with overheating, but there's no residue in the oil. That's a thermostat, and air in the head.

you do not know what you are talking about you can blow through to the water jacket only too you do not have to have coolant in the oil to tell you have a bad head gasket

Yeah but if it was a head gasket wouldn't you loose coolant? mine just fills the resivour. if you let it cool and pour from the catch can to the radator it fills the radator just fine???
kinda wondering myself

no , because you can blow the gasket between the water jacket , thus it will pressurize the cooling system pushing coolant out of the engine and into the catch tank.

trust me this is common

did it do it right after the headgasket and stud change? if so your head is warped.

mine started to do it again after like a month...i think my head is warped , i have arp studs and a cometic gasket
