overboost need help
here is some info onthe setup...
greddy kit, stock boost (6 lbs) 310cc injectors, blue box (getting rid of it soon)
just installed the GE vaccum manifold, everything seems to be better, not tapping from the FPR anymore so it seems to run smoother, and the BOV response is better.
but now I'm boosting to 9psi, then slips to 6psi then goes to 7psi and stays there...how do I make is stop?
here is my solution:
tap the first pipe coming out of the turbo with an 1/8" NPT to .760" hose fitting and connect the actuator there...
that way the actuator will see boost ASAP and open on the dime, at least so I think, and I can dial in the amount of boost I need to have reliable control..
will it work?
input?
