Default over heating under boost

hey guys i bought a 92 eg with a ls/vtec swap and it had problems with overheating but only when i really got into boost, it drove normaly around town fine tho... when i pulled off the head there was 9 arp studs and one stock head bolt because the guy stripped one of the arp's, but i was able to pull most of the head nuts off with a 3/8's drive ratchet so my question is could that be the whole problem, i just think that if the head was lifting under boost it would stop making power when that happened which it didnt.. and the head gasket looked good, also is it possible for the turbo seals to be blown and just pumping exhaust into the coolant system?

When your "really getting into boost", your creating significantly more heat from you turbo, manifold, downpipe, dump tube etc. . Wrap your **** if it ain't already.... get a better radiator and fan... take out your thermostat... theres alot of solutions if you search a bit.

and ....

No, your coolant system is pressurized silly....

head lift i would guess, when mine was doing it i didnt feel a loss in power.

does the radiator overflow bottle fill up often?

oh, and running an open thermostat is not a solution, trust me, you'll hate it.
