Default Over-boosting! Help!!

References:
JDM gsr block
full-race turbo kit with t3/60-1 and tial 44mm wastegate
Tuned with hondata s300

Ok guys, i just finish my turbo install. Everything went very well, we followed install is done exactly according to full-race website, http://www.full-race.com/artic...s.pdf , except for when we go out to tune it. At first we had the small green spring in the wastegate which according to tial is a 5.8 psi spring. We hit it in first and it creeps on me to 10 pounds; it probably would have went higher but we had boost cut at 10 pounds on the s300. So we try it again, still goes all the way to 10 then boost cut. So we go change the spring to a small yellow, which is a 2.9 psi spring, haha. We go out hit it in 3rd again. Well i hit 3 psi at like 4000 rpms, but at like 6000 rpms it creeps up to 6 psi. Dont' get me wrong, i want like 8 psi, so the creep is fun, but i want to find out why it would be creeping on me. Any ideas? Should i try taping the compressor and using that as my vaccum source for the wastegate?

And while i already have this page, i will ask my last question. Right after i go through reving out the car through lets say 2nd and 3rd, the rpms will drop down to 3000 rpms then stop and stay there. I have to tap the gas to get it to stop, then i will just daily drive and it will stay again above like 2500 rpms. It takes a minute for it to stop doing that. Is this an s300 problem?

Any questions for me, just ask. thanks a lot guys.

On the issue with the wastegate, I have the same problem with my 38mm Turbosmart. Haven't figured it out yet. On the idle issue, no that isn't a S300 issue. Could be a tuning issue. Check all you settings in the parameter window. Make sure there is no vaccum leak anywhere on your motor. Also, make sure that the throttle is not sticking. Check that nothing is getting caught up on your throttle plate lever.

check the throttle cable adjsutment and check for binding and sticking....if thats not it then turn down the idle air control duty cycle in the S300 software

i still need some solutions to this boost problem. Would a boost controller help at all? Cause i am relying on the wastegate spring for my boost level.

yeah i'm glad the hondata worked and cut me off at 10. I think i am going to try and tap my vaccum off t he compressor to see if that helps any. Also get a full exhaust put on because right now i am runing open downpipe, might have something to do with it.
