If this is such an issue just add back an a/c system

I went all summer without AC. (100-110 degrees) and I was a sweaty ****, I finally got a new compressor and I can't get rid of my ac. When it comes turbo time (December) I am getting a P/S and AC friendly kit...
this is what i did....
i went to a shop that did custom ac lines adn rerouted mine around to where it doesnt get in the way... cost me 90 bucks and now im nice and cool....
but i know alot of people here cant even fit their compressor in there with their turbo...

for $2400 it is surely out of the question, now, lets just try and find the compressor...

Silly boy.
I have experience with the 12 volt motors look as I said before. Look for frigerators that people throw out. they have the same style motor.
Especially at appliance places they throw out alot of stuff.

ya i have confirmation 12v compressors blow......so ya use ur stock compressor and get a 12v motor to run it usin a belt...hide it in the trunk...or if you wanna get trick reshape ur spare tire area..flatten the inside of the trunk and put everything where the spare tire used to go underneath the car make a protective frame...make sure u use the proper wiring/fusing/relays....get some custom lines and your done....plus you get to use your factory controlls and airbox...it will work good...you know what's cool is you can keep the 12v motor at the ideal rpm for the ac compressor....which will help keep is consitently cool......you people are crazy for not havin ac...
When I get hot I just step down on the gas and just hearing the turbo spool make me not care about the heat.. But then again its not my everyday driver..

I sell those cool shirts. I've had one guy rig up a front mounted cooler for it using a big tranny cooler core and run a small electric water pump to pump water through the shirt out to a tank and then to the cooler and back to the shirt. Seemed to work well.
Seems that most of the 'solutions' are more complex, expensive, and heavier than stock AC.
I guess I don't see the point of spending $200 on a overgrown humidifier when you could have used that cash in the first place to modify your setup to avoid oem items. I wonder how many people haven't realized that the AC compressor has a clutch on it...

I hate to admit it but removing your ac is not a good idea put it back in and get a regular exhaust mani for ur turbo. I almost deleted mine i'm so glad i still have ac.

dont knock it till you've tried it! I went into sharper image and tried one (make sure its full of water) and it really cooled me down (was an outdoor mall on a hot day)
If i need to take out my ac for turboing the car im going to pick up 2 of these (delsol) and keep them in the car. W/ a gallon of water in the trunk.
oh yeah, pick them up off of ebay or some place that doesnt have crazy markup
