Default OT - Need advice

Today I was getting some cable work done on my house and the cable guy hit my car with a ladder. What steps would you take to make sure that the cable company pays for the damage about $300 I'm guessing.

Thanks,

Jimmy

I personally would have whooped his *** right there w/ the very same ladder, but that's just my opinion. Be sure to get his name, his superiors name, his superiors name, then that persons superior, go as high as you can.

I thought about beating his *** with his ladder, but being the holiday season I felt it would have been better to be nice to the stupid. Anyways, he called his supervisor, his supervisor came by looked at the car and said that the company's insurance would call me and take care of business within 2 hrs. Then 4 hrs. later no call. So, I decide to go to the main office and ask to talk to the highest ranking suporvisor, who ends up being the same supervisor that came to my house. So, now they are telling me that the cost might be under their insurance minimum, but not sure so they are waiting for the insurance company to call them back and find out. I got the car estimated and it's gonna cost around $370. This sucks......

do what Art said but I hope you atleast got to see the driver license of the idiot who dropped the ladder. Call the cops, make the report and then contact the highest person in that companies chain of idiots. If you don't get a response you might want to contact a lawyer. Atleast make the police report ASAP but give the company a little time to contact you before going ape ****!

Can I just call some of the TM Boyz to help represent? Anyways, I guess I can talk to a cop tomorrow when I'm at work and see what they can do. I did call my insurance company and they took a report, so I do have some documention that says when the incident happened.

chill.... this crap takes time. it will be covered and all should be fine. It will be cleared up rather quickly just call! they will say to get the est. and then just do us all a favor be honest. if it costs 3bills use the 3 bills you get to fix the issue and not go faster.

ps... i work for a cable co. and these things happen and get resolved rather easy. in two-three weeks you should get your money

If it's not, find his car in the parking lot. Do what you please.
