Default Opinions of Uberchip???

Well i searched and all i could come up with was older stuff...mostly about people talking about how much they love them. Lately, however, ive been reading alot about how people not getting their chips for months and just alot ofbad reviews. But i dont know if thats ONLY because of the customer service or if its because of the quality of the chip or the way it performs. So whats your opinions...i want good opinions and bad. And a short explanation of your opinion would be nice. Thanks

Sean

i like it, but i wish UberTeg would call me up or something to 'retune' my chip for me. it comes with a very conservative setting and after you get it dyno tuned he's suppose to adjust the fuel mapping and retarding per lb of boost. hopefully someone/uberteg will come through and help me out...but until then, i'm fine with this setup.

Well thats good...i was starting to think that it was one of those things that are all hyped up when they first cone out....then turn out to be garbage. So let me get this straight...you can install the Uberchip and start boosting? You dont have to get ANYTHING else? That just doesnt seem right but its what everyone has been telling me. Are they still $100? Sorry for all the question but i just ordered my turbo stuff and im going to be running stock injectors with a 12:1 fmu and an MSD 125psi inline pump. I think that this would be safe considering im only gonna be boosting 7psi...but i want something a little better than that. Also the fact that im going to be running soooo rich ot wont be funny. Thanks

well...you'll need 440 or 450cc injectors or the chip to work. and you'll need an afc if you wish to tune it to a higher or lower boost level. other than that, it's just put in the chip and boost away.
