Default OPINION: WHICH TURBO TO GO WITH?

I am building my first turbo project. I plan on boosting a JDM B18C low boost 5-7 lbs. I am trying to decide whether to go with an internal wastegate or an external wastegate. Pros of internal wastegate, single downpipe, plenty of internal wastegate turbos to choose from. Better suited for low boost engine? Cons boost creep, less control.
External Wastegate pros, less boost creep, better tunability. Cons, additional cost for wastegate dumptube, clearance issues?
What do you guys think? Let me know.

Thanks in advace

wastegate dump tube isnt that much, just get the flange and weld it to a pipe thats about 6 inches long, going straight down

internal gates are quieter and im sure they help restrict exhaust flow
external gates are loud if vented to astmosphere and help to free up some exhaust flow.

also external wg will tap off of the gases in the manifold, and the internal gate is built into the turbo to release the gas where the dp meets the turbo

Well you want 5-7psi now, but I know you will want more later. I would go with an external wastegate for the versatility and its easily upgradeable

I'd thow the extra $100-$250 upfront and leave you w/ more opportunites down the road. You'll want more,... then more,...then more! It's a terrible disease.!
