okay, my car is leaking off boost like crazy...i have a 9psi spring, and i only get, at the most, 5 psi by 8000rpm...now i have a turboxs rfl bov, and i have one washer in the bov right now...do you think i might have to add more? i checked all my pipes, and no leaks, which makes believe that the bov is opening under boost, BUT, my turbo seals are gone, so could it be that the turbo is just not running right??? ahhhhh, so many problems with boost...any help would be apprciated.

 

Does stay at 5psi on the dot? Is it a misfire type of sound? If so, you might have forgotten to gap your plugs to .030-.032.

By the way, why are you running your turbo when you know the seals are shot?

 

the seals are shot, because of the leak...i bought the turbo brand new, but i think because of the boost leak, the turbo overspooled and now its leaking oil...but its alright, i got a 1 year warranty on it.
