I undertand that this stuff takes time but it has been 3 months. All that i wanted was to talk to MAtt to get an update on my package. Several messages were left in a addition to many many phone calls and pms. When you are dealing with an internet vendor there is a certain risk involved and just hearing from that person makes it way easier, when you dont hear from someone in a while you start to wonder what the hell is going on. How can you say you are on a 4-6 week turnaround if i havn't got mine in 3 months. And how can many people receive theirs before me if i mine was ordered first. In the beggining stage MAtt told me he had to build the manis in the order that they were ordered.

I do understand that custom fabricated parts take a long time but being told it was shipped 3 times in 3 month and never receiving it is bullshit. All i ever wanted was to know it would not be coming so i could have left my old setup together, instead of having my car sitting in my driveay on jackstand while i pay the insurance(which is not cheap in jersey). Over the past 3 month i have never had one single message returned at all and it took me several pms before i could get an answer. I know there are times when i business doesn't have always have the right answer for the customer but 10/10 times i would preffer to know exactly whats going on rather then be fed some story. Maybe we can all learn from this and try to communicate with customers better since that internet vending is not like any other business. Being that the customer and store/shop have never met and will never meet you can never be to sure who you are dealing with.

I am sure that in the end i will be extremely happy with my mani and i dont want to put down one-fab but sometimes you have to understand from the customers point of view that situation like this can be stressful.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Boostfed.com &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Again he explained what happened, when we ship products we set up a SHIPMENT ONLINE, usually you have to do an END OF DAY to close out your packages for the day. On this particular situation with btoh Kyle McCombs and the original Thread starter pK1spooled their manifolds were sent with 3 others, one going to Hawaii. Well all packages were set up BY DHL Ground and closed out as End Of Day for Ground shipments. All packages picked up and ready to go UNTIL DOH the Hawaii package held all packages up because you CAN'T Send to Hawaii using DHL Ground. So they needed to Resubmit this package BUT because 5 packages were sent together they all got held up. He had to relabel all of them and get them out </TD></TR></TABLE>

I'm sorry, I'm not trying to add insult to injury, as one of my very good friends had decent transaction with One-Fab...however, I deal with UPS/DHL/USPS daily and this is just not how it works.

If you are using an online shipping application to ship your packages through an account, it WILL NOT let you choose ground to Hawaii. And even if it did...other packages being shipped, coincidentally on the same day would not be delayed because one package was labeled improperly. That's just not how it works. And you dont have to do an End of Day on an online shipment application. Only if you are using that particular carriers software on a computer and you have a daily pickup do you have to do an end of day. Not to mention, even if what you say happend...why now would the Hawaii guy have his stuff already and not the Jersey guy?

Believe, I understand the fact that customers dont understand we have lives outside of their transaction, but as long as you keep in contact and are honest about the situation, threads like these tend not to get started. No one can be 100% perfect as much as most customers would like us to be...but we can be 100% honest.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Flamenco-T &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I personally go through 50-100 calls a day and sometimes I have 5 calls coming in at the same time, by the time I am finish with the 5th phone call, I had forgotten what I was doing before the 1st call came in and what I was supposed to do on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th calls. You get the point.

We're not huge by any means, I do have some help at the shop, but I always try to do everything on my own to make sure that customers are taking care of and sometimes that takes a lot of tolls on my health. I have been sick for 3 days and yet I am here 2 days out of the three. We offer a competitive pricing but at a cost to lower our expenses. Trust me, I'd love to have 10 employees answering phone calls all day, but that will bring up expenses therefore raise the cost of goods.

And Terry (boostfed) is correct on the money, our computer is logged on all day long, but we're in front of the computer about 50% of those times, I refresh my H-T about 1-2 times a day. Majority of the times, I am either assembling, building lines, packaging order (we have 20-40 going out daily and has to be done before UPS pick up time at 3 pm) plus all the USPS overseas and APO/FPO which needs to be done by 4.30 pm.

This is not including working on customer's cars, working on the race car, dyno, tuning, running to the bank, strip club lunch JK. We're here to stay and sometimes more than we like, we get behind, lost and sometimes just runs around like chicken with our head cut off, but we ALWAYS try to take care of everyone as fast and as best as we can and no matter what cost or what it takes to get it done.

For me, email is always the best and qucikest way to reach me, my outlook express checks on it every 10 minutes and I always reply every single email, wether to answer question or simply to verify and confirm soemthing for you guys.

Just to provide what I think, when they were all probably "released" from DHL, the Hawaii package went air frieght while the NJ one went via ground still. I'm betting TX to NJ via DHL is 3-5 business days.

actually my package was in the shop as of yesterday, he told me he was going to ship it today and give me the tracking info in the morning, i have not received it yet so we will see what happens

don't be trying to blame anything on the delivery company. Its really easy to blame them but obviously itsjust an excuse to by some time which is what im trying to avoid. i just want the upfront truth so you dont have me making tuning appointments and waisting my money

1. The flange was warped to **** and hadnt been milled I paid 50$ to have it fixed

2. the pipes are welded crooked and stick way out into the runners blocking flow

3. I had to dremel out a piece of the runner just to get the nut on one runner and the others are a pain in the *** as the pipes are welded infront of the holes

4. The manifold TOUCHES THE HEAD AND VALVE COVER

5. The manifold hits the hood

6. The turbo hit the block webbing in 4 places 3 on the compressor cover and the turbine hits as well

7. the compressor hits the slave cylinder

8. the flange is welded at the wrong angle and there is NO space for a decent downpipe.

Ive been speaking to matt about it for over a week And after promising me he would call me back yesterday he did not return my call </TD></TR></TABLE>

this problem happens alot of times with many different mani's. i got a revhard that had this problem. all u have to do is put the nut over the hole but dont put the mani on the head all the way. and slowly tighten the nut while putting the mani on.
