Older LS, Resleeved... better than new LS?
I am planning on building a Boosted LS, but I can't find one in my price range w/ low enough miles. I am thinking about buying one w/ LOTS of miles, then pull the motor and get it resleeved (to 2.0L), add JE pistons, Stainless Steel Sleeves... and possibly a GSR Transmission.
Is it true that Resleeving erases all of the engine wear? Would it be better to take this rout than buy a newer LS w/ OBD2???

Well you can get a B18B out of a 94-95 LS integra with OBD1.
Resleeving the cylinders makes your block brand new again, plus its stronger then the OEM sleeves.
I wouldn't recommend you boring it out to a 2.0L. At most, I'd make it a 1.9L. At least then, you'll gain that extra torque, yet not have to worry about such thinner walls in between each cylinder.
If you plan on getting a Gen 2 integra, just remember that they're cable tranny's, opposed to the hydraulic tranny's in the Gen 3 integra.
