oil from turbo
sorry for the dumb question but, i have an ls/vtec in a race only civic and noticed a little oil coming out of the compressor side. is this normal, is my oil return to small, 1/2"? and i have upgraded my pcv system. thanks in advance

1/2 drain with no obstructions will be fine. If you're using larger than -3 feedline that *could* do it, but otherwise I'd restrict it just a little to get rid of the issue.

I used to have that problem on my GT35R turbo.
Here's how i fixed it.
Two 10 AN fittings on the valve cover and ran them to a VENTILATED catch can.
Feedline > adjustable needle valve > 60 psi guage > turbo
Adjust the needle valve to keep the oil pressure between 15-25psi at idle after the car has warmed up and you'll be set. That will translate to 45-60 psi at the higher rpms which is where ball bearing turbos want to be.
