oil sender fitting
does anyone have a picture and/or the size of the fitting needed to T-off the oil pressure sender? what size/parts/fittings are needed?? thanks, let me know!! (for a d16z6)
The search buttons your friend, it has been discussed here alot and some threads have full diagrams including sizes and locations. To anwer the question it is a 1/8th npt.
ok thanks for the replies, so let me get this straight
the T should have: 1 male 1/8th bspt(to block), 1/8th female bspt for oil pressure sender, and 1 male 1/8th bspt for the oil send line? or can the oil pressure and oil send line connectors be npt?

you can screw the NPT in there, but it's better to get the adapter, to reduce the chance of cracking under torque and leakage...

I dont know......Ive used 1/8th npt male to male to the block to a female tee, a 1/8 male to -3 flare for the oil feed line from the tee and screw the oil pressure sender into the tee, for the past 10 years and never had a problem of cracking or leakage. Sold probally 40 kits with the same fittings over that 10 years so if you know something I may not please inform me.

well, I have never experienced that problem personally, but I have known a few instances where the torque movement vibration has a too much impact and causes a leaks. but I was running straight NPT to the block for years and it held up fine...
like I stated, you can screw in the NPT in there, and it'll be fine...with BSPT, it's just nicer that the whole thread goes in ALL THE WAY in the block.
