I did a search on "oil return" and no results! I couldn't believe it!

Anyway, I want a nice looking feed and return line setup with braided lines and fittings for my B18C Drag III BB turbo. But, I don't know what to buy. I currently have the stainless feed line that comes with the Drag III kit, but I have all brass fittings and no braided return line.

Please post nice looking oil feed and return setups and some info on part numbers.

What are the 2 45's for? Can you give me any order in which they are assembled from the turbo to the oil pan? Got any pics?

Yes, this is only for the oil return. In this pic a 90deg was used on the bottom of the turbo but I prefer a 45deg to be used because of the angle. The 90 will work, but so will the 45.

How about what I need for the oil feed line. I have the stainless braided line from the drag III kit. I want to replace all the brass t's and fittings on both ends of the line.

oil return line is -10AN, so oil feed line is -6AN correct? or -4AN? btw, how many feet of each line do you recommend?

 

Try searching under "oil and return" archived topics in the forced induction (obviously) forum. I just did this and came up with 15 finds.
One of these will cover everything you need. BTW if you need a 90 and some -10AN I got some for sale, brand new.

 

feed is usually 4an stock.

 

You'd probably be best off with -3 for feed but the fittings are much more expensive than -4. I used -8 for my return but I think it might not be big enough (although all the DSM guys use -8 for returns)

which fitting did u use to hook up to the moroso pan?

 

It's just a regular ol' 45 degree an fitting w/ Npt thread on one end and -10 on the other. On the turbo I used a 90 degree. I didn't use the swivle type fittings as I am cheap like that. I have had no problems.

 

How do you like the moroso pan? I am thinking about buying one instead of modifying my stock pan. I also want the bung the moroso pan includes for an oil temp guage.

 

How do I like it?? Well I don't think it made my car go any faster but it just made my life easy when it came to the return line. I do get paranoid thinking I am going to ding it when I drive on the streets, but that's just me. It's pretty cool, It has a baffle on the bottom to keep oil where it needs to be and also has a "funnel" on the inside part of the oil return to keep the scorching hot oil off the crank girdle as it come in from the turbo. It is supposed to also help with windage, and helps cool the oil (aluminum) but who knows.. I got a good deal on it and looked like something I wanted so I got it. Your money would probably be better buying a "go faster" part unless you are funning out of things like that to buy! They are a little expensive. you must replace the studs on the oil pan to mount it but that is included.

I have the T3/T4 Turbonetics turbo out of the drag kit and was wondering if it is the 3/8" fitting on the bottom of that turbo, or the 1/2" fitting listed here in the middle of this thread&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt; https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=302350

So, which do I need for my turbo, the 3/8" or 1/2" to -10AN adapter?

Most drag 3 setup uses 1/2" drain flange. I sell oil return and feed kit and parts all day long, let me know if I can help you in anyway. I am a distributor for goodridge fittings and hoses.

-10 AN, 45 degree bent tube, Swivel-Seal hose end
-10 AN, 90 degree bent tube, Swivel-Seal hose end

-10 AN to 1/2 in. NPT to AN adapter
5/8 in. to 1 in. diameter, 3 ft. long, Thermo Sleeve
