Re: Oil return leak (Nameless EJ6)
huh? the swivel of the hose end is leaking?
i would chalk that up to not being tight enough. it seals on the inside with that 45 deg angle.
if its not tight enough , no seal.

I think the fitting is probably brazed on, are you implying that they should weld the stainless/anodized aluminum fitting?!

Re: Oil return leak (BROOD)
That happened to my 90 Degree fitting too. Very little though. I tightened it more and that solved it. Fittings seal with the 37 degree angle. If it's nto tight enough = leak. Try teflon tape too..could help.

Re: Oil return leak (R6Elmo)
I have cleaned the joint with soap and water AND used teflon tape + light hondabond. They're very tight.
It is leaking from the joint, you cannot tighten that.
Anyways, I ordered replacements, they should be here soon...

Re: Oil return leak (Nameless EJ6)
I've got the same problem with my 45 degree fitting.
I have tried everything and still leaks from the swivel joint.
let me know if the new fitting solves it.
Also, I had an idea that the oil level is too high, but the fitting on the pan is as high up as it can physically go.

Re: Oil return leak (R6Elmo)
I'm replacing with some earls fittings.. different ones though.
Get them from bakerprecision.com
I got this one:
45 degree bent tube. Part # 804610
And an AN to pipe fitting (1/2"). Part # FCM2009
I haven't recieved them in the mail yet, but I'll report back after I install them. I don't like the 45 degree swivel that comes with the drag kits.. so I got the tube swivel and a pipe fitting.
