oil restrictor on a sc61???

Default oil restrictor on a sc61???

i have one on a stock b16a running 10 psi. should i have one on it?? i have a 3/4 return line

you don't need one as long as you have a -3an line. i have 50k miles on my sc34 with no issues.

and one else??? thanx kyden for the feedback makes me feel litt better lol i havent been running one on either but i just would to blow the seals out alreayd only had it for maybe 2 years driving only on the weekends with it

for a honda -3AN is standard - no restrictor as long as you have no oil system modifications

I've had my SC61 since 2004 running a -3 an oil feed and a -10 an return line and no restirctor and haven't had any issues.

Not the best idea, but it is best to check your oil pressure to be sure

I'm running mine (EDIT: clarifying that it's an SC6152sp) with a -4 feed from the block (no restictor) and a -10 return line. It's a Neon though, so oil pressure may be lower than a Honda from the sounds of it.

Anyway, I spoke with a guy from Precision about this, and he is the one who told me to run a -4 (instead of the -3 I had) from the block where it is as close as possible to full oil pressure.

It has been running great for about a year this way so far.

thanx for the feed back!!!! ya thats what i have 3an line to it. its just i see 80 psi etc. just didnt want to blow the seals out and pay 185 for them to replace it.

-4 AN feed off the an GE oil filter adapter. -10 AN return.

No restrictor, no problems... my motor sees plenty of oil pressure too.

okae i have almost the same question so might as well bump this back up instead of me makin a new topic okae guys i have a sc34 i guess its suppose to run a -4 but im goin to convert it to a -3 do i need to run a oil restrictor or it should be fine thanks
