boosting problem

got a ls turbo and i just recently installed a turbo xs manual boost controller.. and for some reason i up the boost to 10 and when i stomp on the gas it hits 10 but doesnt hold it it slowly drops back down.. whats happening? also it has a 6lb wasgate spring
