Default Oil restrictor

Hi just got a 1.5mm oil restrictor for a Garrett t28 turbo its journal bearing can anyone please confirm if this is the right 1.5mm oil restrictor as it says for ball bearing?? The hole on the side off the bolt is bigger and goes smaller on the end of the bolt or have i got the wrong one. Also does the oil restrictor need to be 1.5mm all the way through? or does it go smaller at the end where the oil comes out from?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1107632503...9#ht_901wt_906

Please if someone can help asap

thanks

Forgot he said journal bearing. (I'm thinking GT28, not T28).

So yes, .065" (1.651mm) is what you need. 1.5 still won't do it.

Thanks for the quick reply. The oil restrictor is 1.5mm on the side off the bolt then goes alot smaller where the oil comes out from id say its about 1mm or slightly smaller the hole. Its not 1.5mm all the way through does this need to be 1.5mm all the way through or 1.6mm all the way through? Also is 1.5mm to small do i need to make the hole 1.6mm all the way through?

So it needs to be 1.65mm all the way through? So The 1.5mm restrictor I have is it still to small ah man. Would it be ok to drill this out to a 1.65mm?

Sorry about this just want to confirm 100% before I do this

I'll let you figure out whether or not 1.5mm is less than 1.65mm (Jeopardy music playing).

I typically don't drill out anything but its up to you when it comes to Ebay parts.

Thanks for all the info very much appreciated. I will get a 1.65mm oil restrictor ordered asap. But for now will need to drill this restrictor out to 1.65mm as the car is used as a daily

Thanks
