oil restrictor
I got a new ebay t3/t4 turbo for dirt cheap of cl. The guy gave me the oil feed and drain adapters. The adapter on the feed looks small and I was wondering if it is already restricted since the hole is really small or do I still need a restricor
Also there is a screw looking thing with a hole in it inside the oil feed part of the turbo, is this also a restricor? Should I take it out? The second pic is with the screw taken out

Re: oil restrictor
you will kill your turbo using that thing.. You will completely starve it of oil. throw it away.
Check oil pressure at cold start first. typically only after 80-85psi oil pressure is one needed on name-brand turbochargers.
If you need a restrictor, get a proper one.
