Default Which Oil Restrictor?

The turbo is a gt3561s with a 3an feed. Last year I ran my t3/t04e w/out a restrictor (my fitting for the turbo has a hole in it about the size of the end of an in pen) with no problems for 12k miles...but this turbo is a little more expensive, and I wanna make sure it's right. So, which restrictor do I need and where is a good place to get one quickly?

try out atpturbo's oil restrictor. uses .060 hole which i guess works in most setups. i hear that precisions require a slightly higher pressure about 30-35psi. dont quote me on that though. also, why worry about it if it never gave you issues before (i know the whole expense thing, but still...?)

Its recomended more so on BB turbo's as they don't require the same oil pressure as a Journal bearing turbo. The restrictors also help spool(very small amount) but the seals will last longer with a restrictor in place. BB turbo's only need a small film of oil running over them and usually Journal bearing turbo's the bearing is soaking in oil. You could run one with no problems for a while but you may as well just get one since they are so cheap. I like the one from ATP deseigned for GT series turbos. Good luck.

The one's for the BB turbos are about .035". too small for a Journal Bearing GT3561S. The .60 or no restrictor should work fine.

I'm just gonna run it with the same setup I had last year...hoping to get some street tuning done this weekend, so I might finally get to see what this setup can do
