... oil residue on engine block

Default ... oil residue on engine block

... okay, i just a custom turbo kit installed in my civic... i was doing a weekly check up of the bolts, hoses, fluids, etc when i noticed an oily residue buildup on the block directly behind the turbo... what is this a sign of?... turbo leaking oil?... if so, is this a faulty turbo?... or can this be fixed?... lemme know... thanks in advance...

behind the turbo? where like were the head gasket is? i cant exactly imagine where that is

probably just little blow by through the seals nothing major to worry about.

... just in case (can never to cautious)... what steps should i take and what things should i check to make sure that it is not something that could be damaging to my engine?... lemme know... thanks...

if your really worried you can have a leakdown test performed.
