Icon2 OIl pump problem

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with my oil pump problem what i'm having on my stock turbo b16.

I'm on my second pump now and this one's on its way out to by the look of it. The symptoms are : lower oil pressure compared to when the pump was new ( 10psi @ hot idle & 50psi @ hot 3000rpm compared to 25psi @ hot idle & 70psi hot 3000 rpm ) and it takes 10 seconds or so to prime the oil systerm on a cold start compared to only a couple of seconds.

I'm going to be taking the pump off at the weekend coming up and taking and inspecting it. The last pump i took off was the original pump what was on the engine from factory. When i took the cover off the back of the pump i notiiced that the gear and casing was a bit scored so i just assumed some crap must of passed through the oil at sometime. So i cleaned eveything that i could and inspected all the bearings. All bearing looked fine and were all 1.5 tho, there were 1 or 2 scratches on 2 of the bearings but nothink worth worrying about.

Anyone else had this problem ? Any advise ?

Thank you for your time guys !
