i been thinking on a ctr pulley for my poor mans R. I've read so many threads about how these pulleys cuase problems and others saying they never had problems. how many people have used there oem pulley and shaved off p/s and a/c. ive been thinking about that.
Taking off a/c and p/s realy does nothign performance wise but a few hp you wont notice and then your car is hot as hell and doesnt turn for crap. plus those N1 type r pulleys are garbage plain and simple. this thred is whats happens when you dont use a harmonic balancer the end ...
Very informative read this thread was. A friend of mine has had 2 oil pumps go out on his Bseries turbo build, both time when he was at the high RPMS.
This last time we had a OEM pump and changed the gear inside with CircuitWorx ones and it just took that oil pump out this past weekend at the race track.
I think his problem is going to be the damper or the crank pulley as some one mentioned earlier here. Great thread and thanks for the suggestions

you can keep your pulley if you balance the crankshaft with the flywheel and all others rotating parts (with the screws screwed back to the same place during the balancing)
