oil pressure help?

oil pressure help?
finally got my motor together and primed the oil but the gauges reads "0". I unhook the "T" where the sender is at and breifly start the engine and oil comes out (So oil is going through the -3an feed line) I hooked up everything and start the motor and pressure still reads "0". install seems to be correct and sender was shipped back and retested and its good. any trouble shooting tips? thanks in advance.

put some regulated air into the sending unit. See if the gauge reads, if not measure the voltage coming out of the unit. Do you still have the stock unit hooked up? If so crank the engine without ecu fuse in it until the oil light goes off. You are supposed to do that anytime you build the engine or let it sit for over a month.

Re: oil pressure help?
the factory oil light doesn't turn on and I tested the gauge and sender by putting compress air in and it works (reads psi). I can not figure out why it wouldn't read any oil pressure when its evident that there is oil traveling through the feed line. any ideas would be greatly appreciated
