i just installed my oil pressure gauge on my b16 turbo and i know the turbo seal is bad, it smokes a little, i did a leak down and comrpession test and every thing was good so i assumed its the turbo seal....anyways when i started the car it was about 35 and now at idle it drops down to 25 but as soon as any throttle at all is given it goes up to 50 and i was told to tee off the stock oil pressure and run ss braided line to the sender unit and mount on the firewall is this correct or is the reason for the low psi the foot of ss line to the sender??

25 at idle is nothing to be worried about..
