Default Oil Pan Nut - Quick Question

Assuming you have no money to buy a new oil pan, what is (If there is one) the "proper" size of the nut to weld to the pan for the oil line? Thanks.

you need like a 1/2 inch if your going to run a 1/2 inch fitting. So get a 1/2 bung and a 1/2" to -10an adapter and thats it. Use teflon tape too....
