Oil Pan
Did all of you take the oil pan off when you put your turbo on? Someone told me that you dont have to, and that way I wouldnt have to get a new gasket. I figure he is wrong. Is he?
If you dont take it off when you drill the metal shaving will fall into your oil. Its not that hard to take it off. There are like 20-25 little bolts and nuts. Just take it off...as for having to replace it I dont think its absolutely nessessary but you might as well.
yes take off he oil pan, it may take some time but better now, because when you blow the motor and turbo from the metal inside your motor you will have to rip it all down....and thats way more time...
do it right the first time

Oh, yeah it is recommended that you pull the pan off.

Well, you might be right. Correction then: LS motors, the oil pan gasket is available. B16 should be the same pan though? Hmm
