oil in my ic piping, wtf is goin on?
sup all, pretty new to the turbo world... finally got my motor to run decent with the turbo in. i have a b16a running all the basics with a t3/to4e turbo... last night when i was test driving, when i got back to check the pipes, oil was coming out from the intercooler? not a whole lot but enough to make me wonder what the hell is going on? my friend was telling me i might have blown an oil seal in the turbo... also i think im running extra rich right now. heres the setup...

stock injectors for now
p28 w/ p30 map chipped for chrome
obd1 conversion

too much oil pressure going to the turbo, and/or bad turbo seals. what weight oil are you running and what size feed line?

Oil in your IC piping is a tell tale sign of your turbo oil seal being faulty. How much oil is there? Is your turbo brand new?

Oil in your IC piping is a tell tale sign of your turbo oil seal being faulty. How much oil is there? Is your turbo brand new?
- yeh im hoping its not a blown oil seal? how much is it to fix this problem? theres not much oil tho... i drove it for about 25 minutes from a friends house back home and it only leaked about 1 teaspoon amount of oil? not tooo much.. so last night... i opened up the piping to let any excess oil out and put it back on this morning... it seems to run ok tho but i havent hit vtec... i have a feeling if i rip it when vtec hits... something might go wrong... btw it hasnt been tuned... could that be a major problem? i will be tuning the car out this weekend, along with #s to post and any additional info.
